Turnout for SINY Women’s Health & Wellness Fair Ignites Plans for Annual Return of Event
Visitors to the SINY Women’s Health & Wellness Fair explored stations featuring leading medical industry experts; traditional and holistic resources and products, and the latest information on health insurance options
STATEN ISLAND, NY – The SINY Women’s Health & Wellness Fair was greeted with enthusiasm and bustling activity by participants and visitors during its recent inaugural debut.
The admission-free event, held April 26 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bloomfield, attracted approximately 300 consumers and business people, who explored nearly 50 stations featuring leading medical industry experts; traditional and holistic resources and products, and the latest information on health insurance options.
“For a first-time run, the expo exceeded our expectations,” said Carmelo DeFranco, president of New York City (NYC) Business Group, whose Travis-based insurance agency co-organized the health event with the Richmond County Chapter of New York State Women, Inc. “Expectations are now running high as I look forward to making the SINY Women’s Health & Wellness Fair an annual event for the continued benefit of our community.”
